Our church formed in 2025 in Sioux Rapids, IA. We are a church with a heart on fire for Jesus Christ. We love this community and are striving to bring everyone to a saving faith in Jesus Christ; through the power of His Holy Word and through our example as servants.
Our Story
Although ValleyLight is a new name the idea has been being prayed about for many years. A church rooted in the Bible and a place of connection are a few of our essentials for this church. Ignite is a huge reason this new church has started. To some it many seem a little backwards to have a youth group plant a church, but that is how this new season has felt.
We at ValleyLight are absolutely thrilled to share a building with Ignite Ministry! As a proud supporting church, we’ve watched this incredible ministry thrive making a real impact in the lives of youth in Sioux Rapids and beyond. Thanks to the generous support of local churches, Ignite is all about connecting young people with Jesus and their peers. It’s exciting to see the passion and enthusiasm from the youth eager to get involved and in their faith.
As a body of believers we are excited to share Jesus Christ with others!
